This applet is a working stopwatch that also allows you to take lap times. It can help you keeping track of your online time by letting the stopwatch run in its own window. Okay, this is not great stuff but it was my first applet.

molar weight calculator

This applet is a calculator for molar weights of chemical formulae of any complexity. There is also a stand-alone application version which can be downloaded by use of the new Java Web Start technology.

huffman code

This applet allows you to generate the huffman code based on a random or user defined set of characters. In addition the underlying binary tree is drawn in real-time.

pdf object browser

In a tree view, this Swing application allows to browse the low-level document structure of a PDF file. In order to download the app, you need the Java Web Start technology installed.
